Meet Liz. . .

Elizabeth (Liz) Armstrong is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and has dedicated over 15 years to the healthcare profession.  Liz recently worked for a Mental Health/Addiction provider which was an early adapter for Telehealth-appointments, prior to the worldwide pandemic,  and she was able to care for 90% of her patients virtually - spanning the entire state of Wisconsin at over 30 approved locations throughout.

Before becoming a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse for 6 years at an outpatient Mental Health medication clinic which allowed her to explore and further her expertise in the medical and mental health field. She started her nursing career in 2005 as a Certified Nursing Assistant, working at an assisted living home.  She went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at a local clinic. During her time in graduate school she worked one-on-one with a woman living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
Liz cares for clients across the age span, children through adults. She is especially passionate about helping those who suffer from anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, bipolar, schizophrenia, and addiction with
co-occurring disorders.  She has helped patients within the Milwaukee/Madison area deal with some of the most critical circumstances in their lives.

Liz is an MSN, APNP, PMHNP-BC and is a registered Buprenorphine Prescriber
